On the date of 13th June 2025 ,Dmitry ,an expert of printing industry ,from Digital Made company added my wechat ,
Sent me an inquiry :
They want to apply primer on the flexible packing film (beverage label),and then digital print QR code(Datamatrix code ) on the label film and then inspect before rewind .
The web width is 1000mm ,want to print speed more than 150m/min .
So the “Demand profile”now is clear.
So for the 1000 model flexo printing machine ,should have very strong features and technology ,to apply primer on portion of the pre-print flexible packing film ,the photocell should track the pre-print film well ,then the digital print can print QR code on the correct place,Because the primer ink is more thick ,but the run speed customer asked more than 150m/min ,
so which means ,the primer should dry quick ,otherwise it will affect the speed .
So this decided that we can not use LED UV for drying ,we have to use the Mercury lamp UV.
But the mercury lamp temperature is higher ,which means it may affect the print effect on the film .
By now ,seems the solution is very complex ,can Raloyal make ?
